Preps Dance School
is Preps Dance classes offered to any dancer with a love and passion for dance. Preps Dance is a performance based dance school that strives to give their dancers the dance technique, training and discipline to be able to take their skills to the next level - if it is dance, theatre, or another art form. Our mission is to give our dancers and students the ability to take what they learn in our dance classes and apply it to other successes in life.
Preps Dance Company
is a pre-professional performance group of elite dancers at all age levels from Preps Dance School. The dancers who participate in the Preps Dance Co. are invited by the Director to join the company, and these dancers make a year commitment to various performances, parades, charity events, competitions and productions. PDC has their own company production every October in the Athens Theatre. Like many professional companies, our dance company learns the entire company production in two weeks during our Summer Co. Camps (Act 1 is Week 1 & Act 2 is Week 2 of Camp) along with other choreography we will use for the remainder 0f the season. We participate in at least 1 regional and 1 national dance competition, travel to Disney Springs at least 1 a year for their Disney Performing Arts Program, amongst many other opportunities that come our way each season. Preps Dance Company is large commitment, but as one of company said "it is totally worth it!" Hard work & high ambition pays off. That is what our dancers learn while participating at the company level. We strive to teach our dancers what it takes to make it in the entertainment industry if they choose to pursue that passion, or take the skills they learn and apply it their academics. Preps Dance Company has been nationally recognized for our professionalism, choreography, & outstanding performers. We currently hold 3 National Titles.
